Open DBxtra Reports and Dashboard from within Excel

When a DBxtra Report Object has an designed Report or Dashboard you can open it from within the XL Reporting Service.

Open a Report

• Select the Report Object with an designed Report.
• Click Report Preview on the Report Object menu bar.

A new window containing the Report will open.

Note! The window with the Report will stay open until you close it manually or until you exit Excel.

• You can also double click the Report Object which has an designed Report.

• Select Report Preview.

Open a Dashboard

• Select the Report Object with an designed Dashboard.
• Click Report Preview on the Report Object menu bar.

A new window containing the Report will open.

Note! You can run and keep open as many Reports you need.

Note! You can run and keep open as many Dashboards you need.

Note! The window with the Dashboard will stay open until you close it manually or until you exit Excel.

• You can also double click the Report Object which has an designed Dashboard.

• Select Report Preview.

Refresh Reports and Dashboards

• To refresh the Report and get the latest data set click the Refresh button.

• To refresh the Dashboard data hit the F5 key.
