Drill-Down Reports (Native)

Design the Report Object which holds the Report Drill-Down details.

Just design the query and save the Report Object.

Note! You don’t need to design the report itself.

Design the main Report Object.

• Add an additional Data Source the Report and add the Report Object which holds the Report Drill-Down details.

• Select the Detail Band, right click and select Insert Detail Report and then select the recently added Data Source.

The Detail Report will be inserted.

• Insert the fields from the Field List panel to show in the Detail Band of the Detail Report.

• Add a new Label in the Detail Band.
  You can call it any name like “Show / Hide Details”.

• Select the Detail Band.

• On the Property Panel select Behavior – Drill-Down Control.
• Select the Label you inserted before.

• On Drill-Down Expanded select No if you want the report without automatically displaying the Drill-down data report.

• Run the Report

• Click on the label to display the Drill-down report.

The Drill-down details will show.

• Click on the label again to close the Drill-down details.

Run the Drill-down Report on the Report Web Service

• Click on the label to display the Drill-down report.

• Click on the label again to close the Drill-down details.
