How Can We Help?

DBxtra Internal Web Server

The DBxtra Web Server is an internal Web Server.

It comes included with DBxtra and is mainly for demonstration purposes, although it can be used in small LAN environments with few end-users.

Note! The DBxtra Web Server lacks security and performance features available as in Internet Information Server.

Using the DBxtra Web Server you have the option to decide the name of the Virtual Directory and the port used by it.

Changing these options will make the Report Server available in a different location, for example, if you use the alias “Reports” and the choose port 9000, the new address of the Report Server and the Report Web Service will be http://localhost:9000/Reports.

Note: If you were using the DBxtra Web Server, the previous Report Server will be unavailable as the DBxtra Web Server supports only one active Report Server at any moment.
