User Import Utility

If you have to handle many users in DBxtra it might be cumbersome to add and edit them manually in DBxtra.

You can download the DBxtra user import utility from here.

Important! Always do a backup of your Report Repository first.

1. Open the included Excel file.

• Fill in required data.

Note: If you enter a new user group it will be automatically added to the DBxtra Report Repository.

• Save the file.

2. Run the “DBxtraUsersImport.exe”

• Enter the DBxtra Report Repository path.

Note: If you’re not sure what the exact path is open the DBxtra Designer and select  > Utilities > DBxtra Repository Path.

Note! All users from the Excel file will be added to the DBxtra Report Repository.

Important! If you want to delete all existing user in the Report Repository and all from the Excel file select “Delete all users from the Report Repository  before importing.

• Click Start Import.
