Connect to Paradox

Important! DBxtra version 8.1.0 (64 bits)
If your computer is 64 bits then DBxtra will automatically run in 64 bits.
Unfortunately there are no 64 bits drivers available for this Database.
In order to still be able to connect to Paradox you will need to run the “DBxtra 32 bit” version.
You can run “DBxtra 32 bit” at e.g. C:\ProgramFiles\DBxtra.NET\DBxtra.NET_32.exe

Click “New” on the Connection menu.

Select “Paradox”.

Connection name: enter a connection name.

File name: select the path to the Paradox file.

Enable Offline mode: Learn more here.

Select User Groups who can view the Connection: assign user groups with privileges to open objects from this connection.

Click “Ok” to establish the connection.

Important! For full data connection functionality to Paradox © it is recommended that the BDEIBXP driver is installed on your system.
